Kids Backing Kids works closely with our community partners – school teachers, guidance counselors, school nurses, health professionals, coaches, social service agencies, food banks, first responders, faith-based organizations, and other nonprofits – to identify children who may benefit from the KBK backpack program.
In addition to our community partners, family members or others within the child’s social network can make a direct referral to us. Simply fill out the Backpack Referral Form and we will reach out to you and gather some information to determine eligibility for assistance.
At this time, we provide services to children in grades K through 6th grade who live in Framingham, Natick, Needham, Newton, Wayland, Wellesley, or Weston. With additional support and more sponsors, we hope to expand our reach in 2021!

Confidentiality Statement: All information about children referred to Kids Backing Kids, Inc. is strictly confidential. While some personal information (e.g., name, address, age) may be collected for documentation and backpack delivery purposes, only those individuals within the organization and authorized by Kids Backing Kids, Inc. to track such information will have access to it. Identifying information will never be released by Kids Backing Kids, Inc. to any agencies or organizations.
